What are Employee Resource Groups?

At Northwest Missouri State University, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary, employee-led communities that bring together faculty and staff who share common interests, backgrounds, experiences, or concerns. ERGs must be consistent with Northwest Missouri State University’s core values and contribute to the professional and personal growth of their group members, foster a sense of community, and advance the university’s mission. ERGs cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment at Northwest, providing employees opportunities for networking and community building.

These groups are open to all employees, whether you identify with the group’s focus or are an ally looking to learn and support others.

We attend CECC events and collaborate with other Employee Resource groups in a supporting role as requested/desired.
