Spring 2026 Bearcats Celebrate: Cultural Graduation Stoles

Thursday, April 30, 2026
6 p.m. Student Union Ballroom

Bearcats Celebrate is open to all students graduating during the Spring and Summer of 2026!  The event will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom and will bring together various communities of graduating students, their friends and families for a final celebration before the University’s formal graduation ceremonies.

As you prepare to celebrate your achievements, The Center for Engagement and Community Connection invites you to claim your cultural graduation stole. The cultural stoles honor identity, heritage, and personal journey. You are welcome to wear your stole during commencement as a symbol of pride and accomplishment or keep it as a meaningful memento of your time at Northwest.

Note: The deadline to register for your cultural stole or reception is April 20. You do not have to attend the reception for your cultural stole.
