Landscape Zone is responsible for maintaining all of the campus grounds. Think includes everything from flower beds to athletic fields. They diligently prepare all of the fields prior to home games, and make sure that the practice fields are suitable for all practices. They work hard to make Northwest Missouri State University a beautiful place to learn. |

Landscape Services plays a large role in the campus recycling program. Learn more about Reduce, Reuse, Recycle at Northwest. Rick Swaney, Chris Redden, Robert Lager, Bruce Devers work in the Recycling/Pellet Plant.
The Sustainability Office was established in January 2011 to help Northwest continue to efficiently advance as an innovative sustainable community through educational outreach, campus engagement, and collaborative partnerships.
John Viau (pictured right), Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for encouraging and facilitating sustainability programs initiated by students, faculty, and staff, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of a long range sustainability plan at Northwest.
