Workshops and Development

At the Center, we are committed to creating opportunities that foster lifelong learning, cultivate empowerment, and strengthen our Bearcat community.

Through inclusive workshops, developmental programs, and leadership training, we help students, faculty, and staff grow personally, culturally, and professionally. Whether you’re exploring your identity, leading a conversation, or sharpening your professional skills, CECC is your partner in learning and leadership.

Campus Programs

  • Bearcats Lead - Student leaders creating inclusive change. Bearcats Lead is a peer-driven leadership development program where students are trained to facilitate educational sessions on topics such as identity, difficult conversations, and inclusion. It empowers participants to lead with authenticity, support their peers, and contribute to a more informed and inclusive campus.
  • Bearcats Talk, Share, Celebrate - This initiative promotes understanding and empathy through dialogue and storytelling. Students—especially first-year Bearcats—engage in honest conversations, shared lived experiences and build community through shared reflection and celebration.
  • Faculty & Staff Development - Learning never stops. Inclusion never rests. CECC partners with faculty and staff to promote inclusive teaching, cultural competence, and professional development. These learning opportunities create empowered educators and team members who help shape a more equitable and welcoming campus.
  • Self-Guided Modules - Our self-paced learning modules are perfect for individuals and teams seeking flexible options for personal and professional growth. Topics include microaggressions, inclusive communication, social identity, and cultural humility—equipping you with knowledge for lasting impact.
