Informaton Technology Services, which is under the direction of the Office of Information Technology, provides secure, reliable, and integrated technology solutions in alignment with academic and administrative goals, while delivering excellence in customer service.

In support of this mission, we will:

  • Partner with the University community to understand the information technology needs of faculty, staff and students.
  • Provide leadership and planning for the effective and strategic use of emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrate technical and operation excellence through a commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.
The Information Technology Services Vision demonstrates our commmitment to ensuring that, in collaboration with our partners on campus, we continue to identify those initiatives, inefficiencies and strategies that are most important to the University Strategic Plan.  Our goal of keeping our plan current helps ensure that our resources continue to be aligned with the changing priorities of the University and in full support of the dynamic learning, research, service and student formation initiatives at Northwest Missouri State University.

  • The Client Computing (CC) Office and Technology Support Assistant (TSA) Customer Service Desk are located on the first-floor of B.D. Owens Library. 
    • The CC Office is open for the majority of the Fall/Spring Hours listed above, except for Saturdays.  Therefore, password help is limited on Saturdays.
    • The CC Office and TSA Desk will be closed whenever B.D. Owens Library is closed (i.e. holidays, building or University closings, etc.)
    • Support for the CC Office and TSA Desk may vary during intercession and summer due to staff availablity.
  • The Jon T. Rickman Electronic Campus Support Center (ECSC) is always open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays except during holidays and University closings.
    • Computers brought in to the ECSC after 4:30 p.m. may not be serviced until the next working day.
  • The Information Technology (IT) Help Desk phone service is always availalbe between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. except during holidays and University closings.
    • Additional evening hours are available (as listed above) but are subject to change during intercessions and summer.
