The Northwest Women’s Leadership Summit: Inspire, Connect & Empower is taking place on Wednesday, March 20th on the 3rd floor in the Student Union. The focus of this summit will be empowering those that identify as women to become leaders here at Northwest, in our community, and beyond. Our goal is to bring women who are in leadership roles or aspire to become leaders together and empower them through conversations, stories, leadership strategies, and valuable opportunities for women to grow personally and professionally.
In addition, the Women’s Summit will also honor and recognize those within our community who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to supporting, advocating for, and establishing equity for others. Nominations are solicited from all members of the campus community. This year, we will be giving up to four awards.
We are currently seeking dynamic and inspiring presenters/speakers to contribute to this empowering experience. If you are passionate about women's leadership, diversity, and inclusion, and have a compelling story or expertise to share, we invite you to register to present.
What are we looking for? Here are some suggestions, but potential presenters should not feel limited to: Self-care; Using your voice; Goal setting; Skills needed to be a leader; Balancing life and work expectations; Overcoming adversity; Women supporting Women Leaders; Leadership & personality strengths; Advocating for yourself and other topics to empower women leaders.
