Campus Programs
- Jumpstart - An opportunity for underrepresented students to move onto campus early to acclimate to campus and establish an early sense of belonging within the Northwest community.
- Social Justice Institute - An educational workshop for faculty and staff to build more inclusive opportunities across campus.
- Bearcat Diversity Book Club - A book club for faculty and staff that meets bi-weekly to discuss books related to social justice and inclusion.
- Jedi - Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.) is a three-level co-curricular program for students that encompasses a series of learning experiences to facilitate self-awareness and identity development, understanding of diverse cultural experiences, and advocacy to reduce structural inequities.
- Barbershop - Visit the Office Diversity and Inclusion inside the Student Engagement Center at the J.W. Jones Student Union for more information and to sign up for an appointment.
Request assistance from Diversity and Inclusion
The community and Northwest stakeholders can request assistance from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for sponsorship or presentations.
- Presentation - Request a member of the ODI to speak to your group during an informational session or a training exercise.
- Sponsorship - Request sponsorship from the ODI.
