About Me

Northwest has been my home for many years. My older brother, younger sister and I all earned degrees from Northwest. I completed my elementary education degree in 2001, and then taught in the Maryville R-II school district for 13 years. I completed my elementary mathematics master’s degree from Northwest in 2015 after which I became a faculty member in the Mathematics and Statistics department.  I am thrilled to serve as the director of University Seminar having taken the class, served as a peer advisor and taught the class as a faculty member. I look forward to helping new Bearcats find success at Northwest.

My wife and I have three children. We have a son and daughter in high school. Our oldest daughter is working on her bachelor’s degree from, you guessed it, Northwest! We also have Louis, a cockapoo rescue dog, who enjoys long walks on campus.
