Campus Services

  • You can charge photocopies to your Northwest Account using your Bearcat Card on any Northwest Copier.
  • Vending machine and concession stand purchases can be charged to your University Account or deducted from your meal plan by using your Bearcat Card.

Use the Bearcat Debit Card and Save Money (Consumer Information)

A U.S. Bank ATM and Debit Card

Your Bearcat Card is also your key to convenient banking. Northwest has partnered with U.S. Bank to offer students, faculty and staff an opportunity to use their Bearcat Card as their U.S. Bank ATM and PIN-based debit card. Students are not required to open an account with US Bank or any other financial institution. To add this functionality to your Bearcat Card, simply sign up for a U.S. Bank checking account at any branch, call us at 800-US BANKS (872-2657) or apply online at usbank.com/northwest. U.S. Bank has made it easy for you to manage your money with the best checking account for students in the country.

  • $25 increments of dining dollars can be added on the Campus Dish website or in our office (2nd floor, Union)
  • Value is not on the Card, but on the Food Service Computer. This will be charged to your University account.

  • Do not put the cards on or near TVs, stereos, computers, or microwave ovens.
  • Know where your card is at all times.
  • Treat it as you would any other valuable item.
  • Protect card from being bent, scratched, damaged, or stolen.

  • Replacement Bearcat Cards can be made 24 hours a day/7 days a week in the Station*
  • Replacement Bearcat Cards can be made from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m., Monday - Friday and 10 a.m. - 11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday in the ID Office.*
  • A Replacement fee will be charged for each new card. A $5 credit will be given if the old ID is returned.
  • In case of a lost or stolen ID, notify the ID office at extension 1430 immediately or complete the online form.
  • If you are using your Bearcat Card as your U.S. Bank ATM card, you'll also need to report it lost or stolen to U.S. Bank's 24-hour Customer Service line at 1.800.USBANKS (872.2657).
  • Turn in found cards to the ID Office ASAP.
  • NO TEMPORARY IDS WILL BE ISSUED.

*When the Station and the Student Union are open.

Broken/Damaged Cards

  • Broken ID cards (not mutilated or abused) will be replaced. The pieces of the broken cards must be returned at the time of replacement. If you do not have the pieces, the card will be considered a lost card and a replacement fee will be charged.
  • Cards that have worn off pictures or 919#'s should be replaced. For cards less than one year old there will be a replacement fee.

All ID cards can be replaced at the Station Front Desk or the ID Office.

Q: What other locations can I use my Bearcat ID Card?

A: U.S. Bank checking allows students and employees to use their ID Cards at ATM machines and as debit cards off-campus.


Q: What if my card is lost or stolen?

A: During business hours call the Northwest ID Office at 660.562.1430 to have your card replaced. You may also report your card lost or stolen by completing the online form. If you are using your Bearcat Card as your U.S. Bank ATM card, you'll also need to report it lost or stolen to U.S. Bank's 24-hour Customer Service line at 1.800.USBANKS (872.2657).


Q: I found an old Bearcat Card. Can I have this card reactivated?

A: No, old Bearcat Cards will not be reactivated. You may bring your old card into the ID Office in the Student Union for a $5 credit to your Northwest Account.
