Student Mentor

• Provide services to SSS participants one-on-one or in a group setting, to help increase the retention & graduation rates of traditionally underrepresented college students. Advising is generally in the following areas: academic, financial, career, personal & social. In addition to interpersonal relationships, the position involves a great amount of teamwork among the staff.

• Applications for Student Mentor positions are usually available around the middle of each Fall & Spring Semesters on the Student Employment website: www.nwmissouri.edu/hr/student/jobs

Note: The applications request a class schedule. If an application is due before registration is open to all students, a copy of the schedule is not required to apply, but is requested when it becomes available.
