Northwest Missouri State University Career Services will continue to provide students with networking, career development and mock interview opportunities this fall to help students gain real-world experience before they enter the workforce.

In addition to networking events, Career Services assists students with job and internship searches, résumé and cover letter help, networking tips and interview preparation. Career Services staff can help guide students on where to look and how to approach employers.

“We can see the job search angle a little bit differently,” Hannah Christian, the director of Career Services, said. “With more experience comes knowing where to look, knowing who to contact, knowing who in the alumni network already operates in that field and connecting them with that. A little bit of networking, a little bit of having a different perspective.”

Learn more about Career Services resources and events below or visit the Career Services office on the first floor of the Administration Building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
