Why Minor in Accounting Information Systems?

The accounting information systems minor is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on technical skills such as spreadsheets and charting, computer programming, database design and accounting. Students receive balanced education from the fields of accounting and computer science and information systems and will enhance their understanding of the management and analysis of financial records, computer programming, database systems and basic technology tools, which will strategically increase a student’s marketability.
