The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment of accountants and auditors to grow 4 percent between 2022 and 2032. The accounting information systems minor focuses on technical skills like building spreadsheets and charting, computer programming, database design and accounting. Students receive a balanced education in the fields of accounting and computer science and information systems and will enhance their understanding of the management and analysis of financial records, computer programming, database systems and basic technology tools. These skills, combined, make our students highly marketable!
