A Bank ATM and Debit Card
Your Northwest Bearcat card is also your key to convenient banking. Northwest has partnered with US Bank to produce an ID card with ATM and debit capabilities. Students, faculty, and staff with a current US Bank checking account, or by opening a new account receive:
- Free US Bank ATM transactions, including the 2 ATMs on campus located in the Student Union and The Station
- No minimum balance
- No monthly maintenance fee
- Unlimited check writing
- First free order of Bearcat checks
- Free US Bank internet banking including Free internet bill pay
- Two US Bank locations in Maryville
- The ability to transfer money from your US Bank checking account to your Bobby Bucks account at three add-value machines on campus.
You can also use your bearcat card as a debit card for purchases at merchants such as Wal-Mart and grocery sales that are affiliated with the interlink point of sale (POS) network.

How to Add Value to Your Bearcat Card
How to Add Cash Value (Bobby Bucks) for Copiers, Laundry and Vending
- Locations of add-value machines
- Owens Library (1st and 2nd Floor)
- 2nd floor Student Union
- Student Services Center, Administration Building
- All residence halls
- DeLuce Fine Arts Building
- The Station
- Follow instructions on add-value machine
- Value can also be added at library copiers which accept coins/bills by inserting the card and then the cash
- Value can also be charged to your student account at the Cashiering Office
- Maximum value on debit stripe cannot exceed $50. It is recommended that you keep the value low
- Value is non-refundable
Value can also be added by US Bank account card to transfer at the add-value machine in the Student Union, Owens Library (1st floor), and the Station.
How to Add Money (Aladine) for Meals and Convenience Store
- $25 increments of Aladine can be added anytime at the ID Office in the Student Union. Value is not on the Card, but on the Food Service Computer. This will be charged to your University account.

- Washers - $1.25 with the Bearcat Card, $1.50 cash; dryers are free. Prices are subject to change.
- Library Copiers - $0.10 with the Bearcat Card, $0.15 cash.

Caring for Your Card
- Do not put the cards on or near TVs, stereos, computers, or microwave ovens.
- Do not put too many Bobby Bucks on your card. It is the same as losing cash.
- Know where your card is at all times.
- Treat it as you would any other valuable item.
- Protect card from being bent, scratched, damaged, or stolen.

Lost Bearcat Cards
- A Replacement fee of $15 will be charged for each new card. A $5 credit will be given if the old ID is returned within 14 days.
- In case of a lost or stolen ID, notify the ID office at extension 1430 immediately.
- If you are using your Bearcat Card as your U.S. Bank ATM card, you'll also need to report it lost or stolen to U.S. Bank's 24-hour Customer Service line at 1-800-USBANKS (872-2657).
- Turn in found cards to the ID Office ASAP.
- NO TEMPORARY IDS WILL BE ISSUED.

Broken Cards
- Broken ID cards (not mutilated or abused) will be replaced at the ID Office. The pieces of the broken cards must be returned to the ID Office. If you do not have the pieces, the card will be considered a lost card and a $15 replacement fee will be charged. For cards less than one year old there will be a $15 replacement fee.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What's the difference between US Bank checking and a cash card (Bobby Bucks)?
A: US Bank checking allows students and employees to use their ID Cards at ATM machines and as debit cards off-campus. Bobby Bucks is a program to pre-pay for on-campus purchases.
Q: What if my card is lost or stolen?
A: During business hours call the Northwest ID Office at 660-562-1430 to have your card replaced. If you are using your Bearcat Card as your U.S. Bank ATM card, you'll also need to report it lost or stolen to U.S. Bank's 24-hour Customer Service line at 1-800-USBANKS (872-2657).

Reminder
Card must be carried at all times. Lending cards to anyone or failure to present it to authorized University officials is cause for disciplinary action. See current Student Handbook for complete Bearcat Card policies.
