Student Handbook: About Northwest

Northwest Missouri State University, founded in 1905, is a state-assisted, four year public University located in Maryville, Missouri. The 370-acre campus is designated as the Missouri Aboretum; it is a beautiful place to be year round. With over 9,000 students in attendance, Northwest students represent 49 states and 47 countries. The University has over 100 major programs and 87 minor programs, along with 34 Master's programs. Additionally, the University boasts a 93% rate at which undergraduates find a job or continue their education within six months of graduating.
