I believe that all students benefit from seeing themselves reflected in art curriculum as well as learning about artists whose experiences with race and culture may be different from their own. Drawing from my twenty-two years of experience in K-12 art, undergraduate art history, museum education, and teacher development, I aim to empower educators to foster students' critical inquiry and sense of belonging.
