Yes. Once you complete your housing application, you will need lock them in through the housing portal:
As long as you have locked yourself in as roommates in the housing portal prior to your housing assignment being made, you will be booked together. Whichever roommate has the earliest day will be the day all roommates are assigned. On selection day, you can login to the Housing Portal to view your room assignment.
Finding a good roommate match is very important! After all, you're going to be sharing a single room for nine months. Students who aren't spending their energy on roommate conflicts can focus on classroom and overall college success.
Northwest allows incoming first-year students to buy out the 2nd bed in their room for an additional $948/semester. This is permitted only in Millikan Hall.
Any student who buys out their room will not have a roommate.
