Bearcat Club

The Bearcat Club is a before and after-school child care program for Leet Center and Horace Mann Lab School. Northwest student employees care for children with the direction of Laura King, Horace Mann Principal.

Bearcat Club offers before-school child care beginning at 6:30 a.m. Monday-Friday. At 7:50 a.m., children are accompanied to their classrooms by Northwest student employees. After-school child care is available from 3:15 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bearcat Club is also available in the event of a snow day if Northwest remains open.

Bearcat Club is not being offered for the summer.

Children that participate in the Bearcat Club before and after school program receive care and support in a positive environment.

Through a partnership with the School of Health and Wellness, K-6 students benefit from a variety of recreational activities planned and implemented by Recreation students completing their field experience hours.

The following rates apply to Bearcat Club:

Hourly Rate for Non-Attendance Day $3.25
Maximum for Full-Day (over 6 hours) $25.00

If the Northwest campus is closed; Bearcat Club is also closed.
