About

I joined Northwest’s Office of University Advancement in July 2021. Prior to that I spent almost 20 years in Central Illinois working as a business analyst and senior accountant. Most of that time was at Caterpillar where my focus was on budgeting and financial statement analysis. I currently serve as the Accountant for the Northwest Foundation, Inc.

My family moved to Maryville in 2019 when my wife, Dr. Cynthia Schairer-Kessler, accepted a position as an Assistant Professor with the School of Education. We have two sons Liam and Joey. Liam is a sophomore at Maryville High School and Joey is in 7^th grade at Maryville Middle School.

In my spare time I enjoy golf, fishing in my kayak, playing guitar and gardening. We purchased the Robinson House at 623 W. 3^rd St in the fall of 2019 and are enjoying old home living!
