Complete the Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at studentaid.gov. Students can begin filling out the FAFSA on Oct. 1 and list the Northwest code 002496. (Be sure to file by March 1 at the latest to be considered for state programs; FAFSA must be processed by March 1.) Here's how to get started.
Students can register for Summer Orientation, Advisement and Registration (SOAR) beginning Feb. 16 in CatPAWS.

Students who completed their housing application on Nov. 3 and signed up for SOAR on Feb. 16 will get their room assignments on March 31 in the housing portal.
Students who are living off campus need to fill out their commuter card.
Students who completed their housing application from Nov. 4 to Nov. 17 will get their room assignments from Apr. 3 to 4 in the housing portal.
Students who completed their housing application on or after Nov. 17 will get their room assignments from Apr. 7 to 8 in the housing portal.
For students who completed their housing application on April 8, please allow a week for your housing assignment to post, as we will be working to identify the best roommate and room assignment possible.

Have your high school counselor forward your final transcript to the Office of Admissions.
