Dr. Tim Wall had served since 2016 as dean and director of Northwest’s School of Education before his appointment as dean of the College of Education, Health and Human Services in 2025. He rejoined the Northwest faculty in 2013 and attained the rank of professor in 2019.
He had previously served the University from 2002 to 2009 as a faculty member in addition to roles as director of Teacher Education Student Services (TESS) and director of educational assessment. He also was a member of the faculty at Missouri Western State University, serving as chair of its Department of Education, among other roles.
He has an Ed.D. in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has a Master of Business Administration degree with a business analytics emphasis and a Master of Science in education from Northwest. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in history from Truman State University.
