Northwest offers more than 124 undergraduate majors and 73 minors. Ninety-five percent of our tenure track faculty has the highest degree in their fields, and our classes are taught by full-time professors, not by graduate assistants. Our faculty will challenge you academically while providing you the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career.
In our Horace Mann Laboratory School, students majoring in education get a true inside view of what teaching is all about. Northwest offers several other opportunities for hands-on experiences including internships, the University farm for agriculture majors, on-campus radio and television stations, volunteer work and more.
Northwest currently has about 6,800 students. This size offers great opportunities for students to succeed socially as well as academically. With a student-to-faculty ratio of 22-to-1, you will never feel like a number.
More than 98 percent of Northwest graduates find employment or continue their education within six months of graduation. Northwest's graduation rate has continually topped our competitors.
