Cooperative Learning is a powerful research based tool for secondary and elementary teachers wanting to increase student engagement and boost test scores. This Kagan Cooperative Learning Kickoff to Teacher Academy will lay the foundation for the Regional Teacher Academy yearlong training. The Statewide Teacher Academy Program focuses its curriculum on (1) student engagement, (2) high yield instructional practices and (3) reflection on practice. This Kickoff training will equip you with practical, hands-on ideas grounded in sound research and theory!

Come learn Kagan Structures for Active Engagement at the September 25-26 kickoff event for the Missouri Statewide Teacher Academy. (This training is open to non-academy teachers as well.) If you have not attended a Kagan Cooperative Learning Training before, this is the learning opportunity for you. Cooperative Learning is a powerful research based tool for secondary and elementary teachers wanting to increase student engagement and boost test scores. Learn how to build powerful learning teams in your classroom, use the Kagan methods for team formation, team building, class building, management, mastery, higher-level thinking, and social skills. You'll leave with multiple Kagan Structures that are easy to use tomorrow and for a lifetime. This training will equip you with practical, hands-on ideas grounded in sound research and theory!
