Employers, graduate schools invited to register for fall Career Day

Registration is now open for employers and graduate schools interested in meeting and networking with prospective employees during Northwest Missouri State University’s fall Career Day.

Northwest will connect talent with opportunities when it hosts the annual Career Day from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Carl and Cheryl Hughes Fieldhouse. Career Day focuses on connecting students with internship and full-time employment opportunities in a variety of different employment sectors.

Early bird registration is $100 for Career Day; the cost increases to $125 after Friday, Aug. 28. Registration is free for secondary schools; government and non-profit entities may register for a reduced rate of $75. A virtual option also is available. Employers may register for Career Day here.

“Career Day is a wonderful opportunity to connect employers with our career-ready Bearcats and to connect students with a variety of potential opportunities,” Jill Brown, Northwest’s director of partnerships and placement, said. “And, this year we are offering that opportunity in-person or virtually.”
