Other Professional Experiences

Rachel Brown is a public health instructor at NWMSU with extensive experience bridging community engagement and health systems. She spent three years at a local health department, leading the COVID-19 response and securing grants to support public health initiatives. At Extension, she spent 2.5 years building coalitions and fostering local partnerships that advance health improvement in communities. Rachel enjoys connecting students with real-world public health challenges and helping them see how evidence-based strategies can make a tangible impact.
