Fall 2026 Residency Practicum Teacher Candidates

Fall 2026 Residency Practicum Teacher Candidates’ Calendar

  • Start the semester with your cooperating teacher (PD days included).
  • Follow your school district’s calendar (For example – Easter/Thanksgiving Break).
  • Then you end your semester based on Northwest Missouri State University’s Calendar (Thursday of Finals Week – Dec. 10, 2026).

Announcement/Reminder for Fall 2026 Residency Practicum students

All teacher candidates planning to student teach in Spring 2027 must attempt the Content Assessment (Praxis) by November 30, 2026.

This is a mandatory requirement. Candidates who do not attempt the Praxis by the deadline will not be eligible to student teach in Spring 2027.
