Northwest Missouri State University has established an international campus at Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) in Shanghai, China, where Northwest students and students from other universities can take a selection of summer courses and earn Northwest credits.

Current or admitted university students are eligible for the Northwest in China Program. Students must meet course prerequisites, if required, and have the following minimum English proficiency on one of the following exams:

Current Northwest Missouri State University students must meet the university’s minimum Study Abroad requirements and apply by the Summer Program deadline.
If you are NOT a Northwest Missouri State Student, you must apply for this program through ONPS. After completing the form, email it to mazhenzhi@onpsummer.org.
Current Northwest Missouri State University students interested in this program must apply first through the Northwest Study Abroad Portal by 10 March. After acceptance, the Study Abroad staff will assist you with the ONPS application, pre-departure orientation, visa application, and other pre-program support.
