Annual Giving Specialist
Empathy – Ideation – Developer – Intellection – Context
"There are many sayings about learning to enjoy the journey rather than the destination. I believe that there is truth to this principle, and I learn new ways to appreciate my journey every day. I thrive when I take them time to show up and be present in what I am doing, rather than getting caught up in tasks, deadlines, and “the next thing.”
My journey so far has been unique and full of amazing personal and professional development. I graduated from Northwest with a B.S. in History in 2022 and took on a job as a Recruitment Coordinator for the Office of Admissions. In this role, I loved meeting new people, sharing the nervous excitement that students felt making their college decision, and presenting information about Northwest in an engaging way. In August of 2024, I took up my current position as Annual Giving Specialist. This role has deepened my appreciation for connecting with others and celebrating what matters to other people. I also received my M.A. in Strategic Communication, a degree I plan to use to continue to engage with passionate community members and build relationships.
In my free time, I am a singer-songwriter, and my goal is to make authentic music for authentic people. I am a storyteller, an introspective thinker, and someone eager to find commonalities with others."
