Program(s) Available: Minor
A minor in applied civic and cultural studies exposes students to issues concerning race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, age, disability and intersectionality. If this interests you, keep reading!
The Applied Civic and Cultural Studies minor prepares students to engage thoughtfully in an increasingly connected world. Through interdisciplinary coursework, students explore the experiences, traditions and perspectives that shape communities while developing skills in communication, collaboration and civic engagement.
This minor complements any major by helping students better understand the people and communities they will serve, lead and work alongside in their careers and lives.
