NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Regents of Northwest Missouri State University will conduct a meeting in the Board Room of the J.W. Jones Student Union, on the campus of Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2009.

The tentative agenda of this meeting, at 1 p.m., includes:

Recognition

  • Regent Don Schneider, Wildwood, Missouri: In honor of his service as a member of the Board of Regents from 2003 to 2009. (Lead: Regent Gary Panethiere) ~5 minutes
  • Internal Recognition (Lead: Regent Bill Loch) ~5 minutes

Awareness

  • Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Department (HPERD): HPERD/Mozingo Based Activities (Leads: Dean Max Ruhl and Department Chair Dr. Terry Robertson) ~15 minutes
  • Alternative Energy Innovation: Understanding the Past, Embracing the Future of Regional Growth and Development (Leads: Dr. Bob Bush and Ray Courter) ~15 minutes

Following the closed session, the Board of Regents will tour the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Members of the Board of Regents participating in Commencement will dine with the Commencement speaker at 5:30 p.m. in the First Ladies' Dining Room of the Union.
