Frequently Asked Questions

  • All offerings as part of the Center for Professional Development do not receive college credit.
  • You can start any of these trainings anytime. There is not a specific start date for any of the courses except our Cannabis trainings and Food Truck Entrepreneur training.
  • All trainings are 100% online and do not require any in-class time.
  • Each training can be accessed for six to 18 months, depending on which program you choose.
  • Financial aid (a traditional student loan) is not available for the online, non-credit courses. However, other financing may be available. Please click on the training you’re interested in to learn more about possible financing options.
  • Resources required include a computer and internet access.
  • The university does not provide laptops to non-credit students.
  • A $40 fee is assessed to all students in non-credit trainings listed under the Center for Professional Development.
  • Refunds for Continuing Professional Education programs vary because some programs are 18 months in duration while others can be completed in less than a month. Unless otherwise noted on the program page, refunds are available within the first two weeks, beginning with the date of enrollment, provided that no more than 25% of the program has been completed.
