Northwest Missouri State University students, employees, alumni and friends are invited again this summer to sport their Bearcat green and enjoy fun at the ballpark during two events sponsored by the Northwest Alumni Association.
The Alumni Association is sponsoring Northwest Night at the St. Joseph Mustangs on Saturday, June 13, and Northwest Day with the Kansas City Royals on Sunday, July 21.

Continuing a summer tradition that began in 2011, the St. Joseph Mustangs will host a Northwest Night baseball game on Saturday, June 13, featuring the Mustangs and the North Missouri Nattys of Kirksville, Missouri. First pitch is at 7 p.m. at Phil Welch Stadium, 2600 SW Parkway in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The Northwest Alumni Association will provide free general admission tickets on a first-come, first-served basis at the stadium on the day of the game. Fans should visit the Northwest Alumni Association tent outside the stadium between 5 and 7 p.m. to pick up tickets and other giveaway items. Ticket reservations and advanced pickup are not available.

The St. Joseph Mustangs are members of the M.I.N.K. Collegiate Baseball League, which consists of eight teams from Missouri and Iowa. For more information about the St. Joseph Mustangs, visit www.stjoemustangs.com.

Join the Northwest Alumni Association at Kauffman Stadium on Sunday, June 21, to watch Major League Baseball’s Kansas City Royals take on the St. Louis Cardinals. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
Tickets are $27 each, and seats are located in sections 409 and 410 of the upper deck on the left field side; $2 from each ticket will support the Northwest Foundation.
Additionally, parking must be purchased in advance, and discounted parking is available to Northwest alumni and friends.
To purchase game tickets as well as discounted parking, click this link; the deadline to purchase tickets is 5 p.m. Friday, June 12. All tickets are digital and will be delivered by email one week before the game; tickets for entry to the stadium will be accessible via the MLB Ballpark app at www.mlb.com/royals/apps/ballpark.
A Northwest Alumni Association tent will be set up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Parking Lot J, near the left field entrance, where alumni and friends are invited to visit on their way into the stadium for a free Northwest promotional item.
