The Northwest Missouri State University community is grieving the death of one of its students.
The University learned Joe Huber died Tuesday, Jan. 6, as the result of an unexpected, brief illness. He was a senior from St. Joseph, Missouri, and a mass media major with a broadcast production emphasis.

“It is always tragic when we lose a member of our Northwest community so suddenly,” Northwest President Dr. Lance Tatum said in an email to the campus community announcing the death. “Our hearts go out to Joe’s family and friends, and we encourage you to seek any support you may need from the resources we offer.”
