Wesley Center sponsoring annual Shot in the Dark golf tournament

The Wesley Student Center at Northwest Missouri State University will host its 20th Annual Shot in the Dark Golf Tournament to benefit the Wesley Foundation Friday, Aug. 12.

The tournament at Mozingo Lake Golf Course tees off with a shotgun start at 6 p.m. The first nine holes are a two-person scramble, and the second nine are a two-person alternate “shot in the dark” with a lighted golf ball.

Entry fee is $85 per player, or $170 for a team, which includes green fees, a cart, food, prizes and a glow-in-the-dark golf ball. Registration is limited to 36 teams.

Registrations also will be accepted on the night of the event, which begins with a light dinner at 5 p.m. A dessert buffet is available after the first nine holes of golf.

For more information, including registration and sponsorship opportunities, visit northwestwesley.com/fundraisers/ or contact wesley@nwmissouri.edu.

The Wesley Student Center serves the Northwest community through its midweek worship, small group studies and support opportunities for students. Proceeds from the golf tournament are used to fund programming.
