My insurance career spanned 45 years with the last 30 years as the senior vice president/healthcare practice leader at Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held insurance brokerage firm. Retiring in 2017 has afforded me the opportunity to spend more time with my husband John, our four children, their spouses and our four grandchildren. We are blessed that they all live in the Kansas City area. In addition to spending time with family, my husband and I enjoy summers at the Lake of the Ozarks and spending much of the cold midwest winter in Arizona.
"My family moved to Maryville when I was 15. I fell in love with Maryville and Northwest Missouri State University before I was old enough to be a Bearcat. My four years at Northwest were some of the best and most memorable of my life. Although I moved to Kansas City in 1973, much of my family still live in Maryville and Bearcat Homecoming is a family tradition. My parents were both Bearcats and this fall, my granddaughter is a Bearcat cheerleader."
