Commemorative Trees

You can support the Missouri Arboretum by purchasing and dedicating a commemorative tree. A living tree honors your special person or event and provides many benefits for Northwest’s campus and the environment during its lifetime.

A gift of $1,000 includes a commemorative tree, the planting and the initial care, and assists with maintenance over the lifetime of the tree. Donors receive a wooden plaque and letter describing the tree, its location and general information about the tree species. The Missouri Arboretum Committee maintains a list of appropriate tree species and planting sites based on Missouri Arboretum criteria. Gifts are recognized on the Missouri Arboretum website and by the placement of a plaque at the planting site.
