Each year, Northwest recognizes eight freshman students who have exemplified outstanding academic effort.
This select group of students each receive $10,000 per academic year, and the award is renewable based on meeting eligibility requirements. Northwest is currently seeking donors to assist in the continued funding and recruitment of our best and brightest students.
“Being a Presidential Scholar at Northwest has allowed me to graduate debt-free with a double major. The scholarship not only made my education possible, but it also connected me with a cohort of high-achieving, driven students who are setting the bar for our university and our future careers.”

“As a music education major, I am involved in many ensembles and organizations surrounding music and teaching. By receiving the Presidential Scholarship, I am able to worry less about financial burdens and focus more on achieving high academics and being a part of organizations I love!”
