Bearcat Day of Green will take place on April 7 and 8, 2026.

For 1,905 minutes, Bearcat Day of Green brings together the Bearcat community for a day of giving to crucial initiatives and programs at Northwest Missouri State University.

What’s Your Cause?

Bearcat Day of Green is your chance to support what matters most to YOU at Northwest! With seven key initiatives and multiple designated funds within each, you can give to the area that speaks to you:

📚 Academics – Donor support ensures that Northwest's commitment to hands-on, profession-based learning remains accessible and relevant to students.
🏆 Bearcat Athletics – Funding for Athletics primes student-athletes with the resources they need to train hard, perform well, and achieve greatness.
💙 The Northwest Fund – The University's unrestricted fund meets Northwest's greatest needs as they arise.
🎓 Scholarships – Financial aid enables students to work toward their degrees with confidence.
🏡 Student Life – An exceptional student experience allows for Bearcats to connect with each other, pursue their passions, and develop skills for life after graduation.

Ways to participate in the Bearcat Day of Green

Donate!

Give online during the event.

Gifts of any size add up to have a big impact! Participants in Bearcat Day of Green may choose to give to areas such as academic excellence, scholarships and Bearcat athletics. Gifts may also be designated to specific initiatives such as Bearcats Supporting Bearcats, KXCV-KRNW and Student Life. Additionally, donors may choose to give to the Northwest Fund, an unrestricted fund that supports the University’s most significant needs.
