After graduation, Mike worked for 42 years in the Insurance Industry with stops in Kansas City, Atlanta, Little Rock, St. Louis and back to Kansas City. He held Management and Sales positions with two National Insurance Companies and a large Risk Management Firm. His areas of expertise included Surety Bonding for contractors and, he was instrumental in placing over 40 Missouri Rural School Districts into a Public Entity, Health Insurance Risk Pool.
Mike and his wife, Jacci (a retired teacher and coach) live in Lee’s Summit. They have three kids: Mackenzie (Alex), Matthew (Tracy), and Mark (Kayla). And, seven grandkids: Parker, Preston, Miles, Dominic, Remi, Alice and Charlie.
