Alumni Association membership is complimentary to first-year graduates. After the first year, any donation of $40 or more per person annually to Northwest entitles you to membership. To make an online donation use the online form or call (660) 562-1248 for other payment options.
There are 11 Northwest Alumni Association chapters in geographical areas throughout the world (Kansas City, Arizona, Maryville, St. Joseph, Nebraska/Western Iowa, Colorado, Southern Iowa, Southern California, Dallas, Japan, Central Iowa) as well as a Band Alumni chapter. Please call the Alumni Office at (660) 562-1248 for more information.
To inquire about starting an alumni chapter in your area, e-mail the Office of University Advancement at alumni@nwmissouri.edu or call (660) 562-1248. The alumni office can determine how many Northwest alumni live in your area. Ideally, at least 200 alumni need to live in the geographic area to start the process of establishing an alumni chapter.
All Northwest alumni receive the Northwest Alumni Magazine, which is published three times a year. If you are not receiving the publication, or if you would like a copy delivered to your school or business, please contact the Office of University Advancement at alumni@nwmissouri.edu or (660) 562-1248. The Tourin' Bearcats travel program is open to all Northwest alumni and friends who travel to various locations throughout the year. Please visit the Tourin' Bearcats site or call (660) 562-1248 for more information about upcoming destinations.
Alcohol is not permitted on the Northwest campus at any time.
Look for the green and white in a parking lot adjacent to the football stadium at all regular season away games. Countryside Bistro will be catering at away football games for $6 per person beginning two hours prior to kickoff. Call the Office of University Advancement at (660) 562-1248 for more details.
The Alumni Scholarship is a one-time $500, non-renewable scholarship that is available to the son, daughter or spouse of a Northwest alumnus during the student's first year at Northwest. Complete the alumnus information section on the Admissions Application to initiate the award process.

Login using the 9-digit User ID number located on the mailing label of your Northwest Alumni Magazine. Your password for logging on the first time is either:
- The last 6 digits of your ID or
- Your birthday in MMDDYY format

To reserve the Alumni House, call (660) 562-1248 and ask to talk to Lynn Ruhl, who will check the availability. This facilities may be used by a university organization, faculty or staff; alumni of the university; if the event will create goodwill to the university in the community; or by a not-for-profit organization whose purposes are compatible with the university's objectives. The Alumni House living room can accommodate up to 24 people at a sit down meeting, and the furniture should not be rearranged. A facility use fee is charged for non-university events.
If you are a Missouri resident and have donated at least $25 to Northwest, you may request a Missouri Collegiate License Plate Form to be sent to you. If you submit your donation with a pledge/donation form, oftentimes there is a box for you to check indicating that you would like to receive a license plate form. You may also contact the Office of University Advancement at (660) 562-1248 or advance@nwmissouri.edu to request a license plate form. Take your completed form to your local license bureau, and they will direct you from there. These plates are treated like the general personalized plates throughout the state both in terms of price and availability of word or number combinations.
Visitor permits are available at Campus Safety in the Support Services Building or the Student Service Center in the Administration Building. Permits also are available on a limited basis at the Alumni House.
