Students invited to share experiences at ‘PBL Palooza’ Nov. 19

By Grace Niemeyer, communication assistant

Northwest Missouri State University students who participate in profession-based learning (PBL) experiences are invited to showcase their work in the inaugural PBL Palooza this month.

Northwest Career Services is organizing the event Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 7-9 p.m. in the Carl and Cheryl Hughes Fieldhouse to highlight students’ internships, field experiences, practicums and research projects.

Jill Brown, director of partnerships and placement at Northwest, said students are encouraged to participate to share their projects and experiences at Northwest while learning about other available opportunities from their fellow students.

“Students will gain an appreciation and understanding of the diversity of profession-based learning that is occurring at Northwest,” Brown said. “Stellar work is being done by our students, and we are excited to see and hear about it. Plus, who doesn’t love to win fun prizes?”

The event is open to the public. Attendees will receive tokens to vote for their favorite poster, and winners will choose from a variety of prizes.
