Theatre Northwest announces auditions for fall productions

Northwest Missouri State University students of all majors are invited to audition for Mainstage and student-directed Lab Series productions for Theatre Northwest’s fall season.

Theatre Northwest’s 2019-2020 season features eight productions beginning with “A Fall Evening of One-Acts,” Sept. 13-14. The 29th annual Freshman/Transfer Showcase is Sept. 26-29 when this year’s first-year students stage. Then, “When She Had Wings,” Oct. 11-12; “Noises Off,” Nov. 14-17; and the annual Alpha Psi Omega children’s show round out the fall schedule.

The spring schedule includes “Glass,” Feb 14-15, and “Under Milk Wood,” Feb. 20-23, before concluding with the musical “Into the Woods,” April 16-18.

Information about auditions for fall productions is provided below, with the exception of the Alpha Psi Omega Children’s Show occurring later in the fall. All auditions will take place in the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts. Students may sign up for audition times on the callboard behind the Mary Linn Auditorium in the Houston Center.

Students interested in technical and crew positions should contact Pat Immel, associate professor of theatre, at pimmel@nwmissouri.edu.
