Northwest cohosts Ingram’s Higher Education Industry Outlook

Northwest Missouri State University on May 9 hosted educators and administrators representing college campuses in Kansas and Missouri during the 2019 Higher Education Industry Outlook assembly, in partnership with Missouri State University and Ingram’s magazine.

Northwest President Dr. John Jasinski and Missouri State Provost Dr. Frank Einhelling chaired a discussion on topics including strategies for increasing enrollment and retention, finding cost savings, and enhancing programs.

Additionally, the event celebrated the magazine’s 2019 Icons of Education. Ingram’s, a Kansas City business magazine, named Jasinski among its latest class earlier this spring.

Northwest Provost Dr. Jamie Hooyman and Dr. Jay Johnson, Northwest’s associate provost for academic operations and development, also participated in the event. The gathering took place at the Northland Innovation Center in Gladstone, which serves as the University’s Northwest-Kansas City location.
