Students who are taking all of their classes online during the summer also may pick up their textbooks during the above hours.

Students who took online courses only this spring should ship their textbooks so Textbook Services receives them within the week after final exams are complete. Students should have a tracking number for reference and ship their textbooks to:

Students also may request summer textbooks be shipped to them by sending an email to nwtxbk@nwmissouri.edu, including their 919#, course numbers and the shipping address. All shipping charges are paid by the student.

Students taking courses on the Northwest campus must verify online before picking up summer textbooks, beginning Thursday, May 9. Textbook services will be open to on-campus summer students, from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, May 10. Textbooks may be picked up Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. after May 10 without penalty.

A hallmark of Northwest’s emphasis on providing students access to an affordable education, Northwest provides laptops and textbooks to students as part of their tuition, ensuring all students have access to the tools they need to be successful in the classroom. Northwest launched its textbook rental program in 1922 and the laptop rental program in 2005. The programs save students an estimated $7,400 during their four-year academic career, compared to students attending other institutions.
