Area youth compete in district agriculture contest at Northwest

More than 1,100 students from 52 northwest Missouri high schools competed April 2-3 at Northwest Missouri State University as its School of Agricultural Sciences hosted Northwest District Agriculture Career Development Events.

The annual contest is coordinated and facilitated by School of Agricultural Sciences faculty, staff and students. Events take place on the Northwest’s R.T. Wright University Farm, the Maryville Community Center and the Ed Phillips Memorial Arena.
