Northwest announces retirements of 4 faculty members

Northwest Missouri State University has announced the retirements of four faculty members who have dedicated a combined 102 years of service to the University.

Faculty retiring from Northwest this spring are:

• Dr. Jerry Barnett, professor of psychology in the School of Health Science and Wellness, 36 years of service
• Cathy Dennis, instructor of professional education in the School of Education, five years of service
• Dr. Roger Neustadter, professor of sociology in the School of Health Science and Wellness, 27 years of service
• Dr. Tom Zweifel, assistant professor of agricultural sciences in the School of Agricultural Sciences, 34 years of service

Northwest will honor the retirees during its annual Faculty Retirement Reception at 3:30 p.m., Friday, April 26, at the Thomas Gaunt House patio. Refreshments will be served, and a formal presentation begins at 4 p.m.
