Literary, art magazine accepting submissions

The students behind “Medium Weight Forks,” Northwest Missouri State University's literary and art magazine, are calling for submissions for the 2019 edition scheduled for publication this spring.

The deadline to submit work is Friday, Feb. 22.

Medium Weight Forks is an undergraduate journal published annually by students in the University’s English 512: Publication Skills course.

Students, faculty and alumni may submit any literary work, including fiction or nonfiction writing, poetry and scripts. Written work should be no more than 3,000 words.

Editors also consider two and three-dimensional artwork including comic strips, photographs and other original, unpublished artwork.
