Career Services, Alumni Association invite students to ‘Chat with a Cat’

Add to Calendar

Northwest Missouri State University Career Services and the Northwest Alumni Association are collaborating to launch “Chat with a Cat” this spring to connect students with Northwest alumni and friends during informal lunch time gatherings.

The sessions from noon to 1 p.m. each Wednesday, beginning Feb. 6, invite students to grab a lunch at Bearcat Commons in the J.W. Jones Student Union and sit with an alumni host in a reserved lunch area.

“Chat with Cat sessions are designed to connect current students with alumni and friends of the University during informal lunch time gatherings,” Brown said. “Deciding on a major or selecting a career can be challenging. Visiting with past graduates is a great way for students to ask alumni about their college experiences, what they would do differently, what advice they have, and why they enjoy their profession. Chat with a Cat is informal, students are welcome to come and go, and everyone is welcome.”

A complete list of dates and alumni guests is provided below.
