Northwest Missouri State University is hosting an inaugural local job fair to connect employers with individuals looking for part-time jobs.
The job fair will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Carl and Cheryl Hughes Fieldhouse.
“Any employer in the northwest Missouri region in need of part-time employees should make plans to attend this new annual event,” Jill Brown, director of partnerships and placement at Northwest, said. “The primary goal of this event is to highlight all of the wonderful part-time opportunities in our area and allow a platform for employers to visit with prospective employees.”
The local job fair will focus on providing part-time employment opportunities to students and community members within the Northwest Missouri region. Students also will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from various local organizations.
Employers are encouraged to sign up online for free.
The job fair is sponsored by Northwest Missouri State University, Northwest Missouri Regional Council of Governments, Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation and the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce.
