Peavler to receive Clint Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Emily Peavler is the recipient of the Clint Johnson Memorial Scholarship at Northwest Missouri State University for the 2018-2019 academic year.

She will be a freshman and plans to major in foods and nutrition with a dietetics emphasis at the University. The daughter of James and Sharon Peavler, she is a native of Lexington, Missouri.

The $1,000 scholarship is in memory of Clint Johnson, a first-generation Bearcat who attended Northwest from 2004 to 2006. His parents, Robert Johnson and Jennifer Holt, established the award in 2009 with preference to a Lexington R-V High School graduate who is attending Northwest to pursue a degree in agriculture.
