Dr. Dong Si, an assistant professor of computer science in Northwest Missouri State University’s Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Systems, has published a textbook, titled “C. Si, D. Si, Q. Su, Q. Ai, Algorithm Analysis and Design Techniques.”

The textbook is published in the Chinese language by Xidian University Press.

The reference book is written to assist college students with the study and practice of data structure and algorithms problems in computer science programming. It could be used as a textbook in undergraduate data structure and algorithms courses. Chapters include exercises and detailed explanations of techniques involved in problem-solving.

Si joined the Northwest faculty in 2015 after serving as an instructor at Old Dominion University. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronic information science and technology from Nanjing University in China, a master’s degree in information systems engineering from Chang’an University in China, and a doctorate degree in computer science from Old Dominion.
